By local authority district, the mid-2025 population estimates are:

Cherwell: 172,200
Oxford: 165,900
South Oxfordshire: 158,000
Vale of White Horse: 152,200
West Oxfordshire: 121,400

ONS mid-year estimates for 30th June 2025 and released 29th July 2026 for Council level data. Next update in Summer 2027. Small area (i.e. MSOA) for 30th June 2024, released 7th November 2025, Next provisional release date: November 2026 . Please note smaller areas may not sum to larger areas due to rounding and being updated at different times.
